Cornell Dairy Environmental Service
The Cornell Dairy Environmental Service is a collaborative effort between members of Cornell Pro-Dairy, SPEAR, and individual Cornell faculty and staff. The program aims to reduce the environmental impact of dairy farming through providing resources and information that pertain to critical aspects of dairy farming in the Northeast. Their website contains case studies, fact sheets, and assessment tools targeted toward water use, manure storage, greenhouse gas emissions, and economic models. The program also focuses on renewable energy through on farm anaerobic digesters.
