NEW YORK STATE / NORTHEAST DROUGHT ATLAS
Developed by Dr. Toby Ault, in collaboration with the Climate Smart Farming Program, this tool shows maps of Palmer Drought Severity Index, and is updated every month. You can also find historical conditions going back to January of 1950 and time series from each county in NYS. There is a quarterly newsletter accompanying this tool, available below, and through the Emergent Climate Risk Lab. The current version online is in Beta mode. This project has been made possible in part through the support of a NIFA Hatch grant to PI Ault.
